Her birth date was March 29, 1985 in Roswell New Mexican. Gerina is the given name of her. Gerina Stevenson's parents are Mexican Alan Stevenson & Rita Stevenson. She has Mexican origins, however she is American as a national. Her passion for sports started as a young toddler. Gerina began to play golf at the age of 15. Gerina completed her high school education at Goddard High School. In high school, she had won at the New Mexico Golf State Tournament. A volleyball player, she also competed in state competitions. She attended the University of Texas, Texas, for the 2003 academic year. During her senior years she took home every single tournament she entered. While in her undergrad years, she was awarded Conference USA's individual player of year, as well as UTEP's Female Athletic Champion of the Year.
