Ashton Whitty and Asia Argento

Ashton Blaise Whitty, born October 1, 1995, was raised in Berkeley, California. Her work includes actor in Choices (2010). The Heart and Other Small Shapes (2007) and Chrissie mayr's Content House 2022.

Asia Argento was born in Rome, Italy, into an actor's family and filmmakers, both occupations which she has herself been pursuing. When she made her debut, she was just nine years old young in the film of Sergio Citti, Sogni e bisogni. In 1988, she played the lead role in Cristina Comencini's debut film, Zoo, and was one of the actors in The Church directed by Michele Soavi. The following year she played Nanni Moretti's daughter Red Wood Pigeon It was when she starred in Close Friends written and directed by Michele Placido, that Asia's career took off, and she could change from portraying young girls into more complex, mature roles. The film received a great reception at the Cannes International Film Festival. Daria Nicholodi was among Argento's favorites actresses and was cast as an orexic kid looking for the killer. Asia's intense and concentrated style of performing was well used in the film Condannato a nozze. She played Arianna in Carlo Verdone's Perdiamoci di vista, which focuses on a physically disabled girl, was a difficult and complex role that brought it the David di Donatello award for the best actress. Her film debut was a role on the screen in Queen Margot, directed by Patrice Cereau. She was a part of Peter Del Monte's Compagna di viaggio with Michel Piccoli and won a David di Donatello as well as the Grolla d'oro. Asia began directing short films in 1994. In addition, she was the director of an episode in the film De Generazione. 1996 saw her make a documentary along with her father. 1998 was the year she directed AbelAsia about the legendary filmmaker Abel Ferrara. This film won a prize at the Rome Film Festival. Asia produced her debut feature film Scarlet Diva (1999), in which she was both the actress leading the film and the author of its screenplay. The film was released in May 2000 across Italy as well as the rest of the world. The Williamsburg Film festival held in Brooklyn, New York awarded it with a top prize.
